How to play pop punk.

For some reason it makes everything sound so much chunkier and better. I’ve been experimenting with different tunings lately. If I actually knew music theory this would be a lot more productive. Good Thing I’m playing punk.

If you can play Slayer and every scale in every key, that’s great, I respect it.

If you can play every chord in every key and name them as you play, that’s great, I respect it.

If you’re a complete asshole about your guitar playing and give me shit because I don’t know how to shred, but you have issues playing the basics, fuck off.
